Many people shop for groceries online, and have them delivered to their doorsteps. However, with so many options available, some people may feel overwhelmed by the choices they are faced with, while others may be completely lost when it comes to deciding which service is best. This will break down some popular grocery delivery services and help you decide which is right for you (all prices in USD):

1. Amazon Fresh

Amazon is known for its fast delivery, but does that also apply to groceries? It is a new service that offers grocery delivery in select areas. Pricing starts at $14.99 monthly, and includes free delivery within the first hour after you complete your purchase. No membership is required, but a minimum purchase of $50 per order is required to use it. A list of cities with this grocery delivery can be found on their website.

2. Whole Foods Market

Whole Foods has been around for a long time and is known for its high-quality products. They offer in-store pickup and delivery service. You can get free two-day delivery if you spend $75 or more. Even though individual stores may not yet be operating this service, the Whole Foods grocery delivery service has been offered in select cities since June 2014.

3. Safeway Delivery

This is another grocery delivery service that has been operating for a while now. Delivery fees are $9.95 per order, and orders can be made online. The minimum order is $30. The advantage of using this service is that you can shop at any grocery delivery store, not just ones near you.

4. FreshDirect

This service offers grocery delivery service to the following areas: New York City, Westchester County, Long Island, Rockland County, and Nassau County. They also deliver to some places in New Jersey. There is a minimum for every order. Delivery fees are as follows: They currently charge $19.95 for orders under $100, and an additional $1 for each other item after the first 100 items are ordered. If you spend more than $100, you will get free shipping. This popular service delivers high-quality produce, and meat selections to the customer’s doorstep. The site offers many recipes, but you need a membership to access the recipes and how-to videos.

5. Publix Delivery

It has been operating for decades and is well-known for its high-quality products, excellent customer service, and friendly employees. However, they do not offer grocery delivery in all areas. Delivery service is available in the following locations: East Orlando, Central Orlando, Lake Mary, Winter Park, Deland, and Daytona Beach. To place an order, you must be a grocery delivery club member. They offer three delivery options: $9.99 for next-day delivery, $14.99 for overnight delivery, or $24.99 for grocery delivery. One-way orders are not allowed, so you must order them online and have your items delivered to the store’s back door in a box.
